I graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (ranked #1 Undergraduate Engineering college by U.S. News & World Report) in Terre Haute, IN with a B.S. in Computer Science, second major in Software Engineering, and Mathematics minor. I spent 7 years as a Software Engineer before making the switch to Product Owner. Being very organized, planning ahead, and estimating comes very naturally for me, and I found myself thriving in this new role.

My most recent position was a Software Product Owner at Donnelley Financial Solutions. There, I owned the backlog, prioritized user stories, bugs, and feature releases. I also worked with the Development and Product leads to define features and write user stories. My favorite part of this position was being able to incorporate accessibility and usability standards into the product. After witnessing how some of my friends with disabilities interact with the digital world, I have made it a personal goal of mine to make every product I work with more accessible and usable for everyone!
